Classes - Meerkats

 In Meerkats Class we have been studying the International Primary Curriculum Topic ‘Leading the World.’ We started off by inviting Andrew Miller MP in to talk to us and tell us about his life as a Member of Parliament. He explained what he had to do to become elected, and some of the things he had done as an MP.
We then organised and held our own elections for a Class Parliament. Here is one of our campaign teams.

 
We then had a great time finding out about different world leaders. We researched Nelson Mandela, Winston Churchill and Elizabeth I among others. The best day was when we all came into school dressed up (including our teachers). Here are some of our photographs; can you guess who these people are?
