Welcome to Merlin Class. We are now in our brand new extended classroom, and it is so much easier to move around and learn.

We have had a very active start to the year. We have been studying the Egyptians as part of our new curriculum (The International Primary Curriculum). For this we have constructed our own timelines, and then researched Egyptian Timelines.

The Archaeological Outreached service came into our class and brought genuine Egyptian artefacts for us to study. We are currently creating our own WIKI on the schools E-Learning Platform about Ancient Egypt and Egyptian Gods.

The year 6 have been on their annual trip to Kepplewray Outdoor Education Centre in the Lake District, read more about this on the Residentials page, and see some video clips of the type of things we got up to.

When we came back from Kepplewray we wrote Personification poems about some of the things we saw in the Lake District. Follow the link to see some of our poems.
