Welcome to Tiger class!

Just like Tigers in the wild, the Year Ones pride themselves on being brave, confident and courageous learners! We tackle challenges and overcome obstacles, whilst working hard to develop our skills as independent learners.

In the Tigers class we learn …

Within the Tigers Learning Journey, the children access their learning through imaginative and exciting topics which provide the foundations for our creative curriculum, interlinking themes and activities across all subjects. The Autumn Term sees the Tigers Learning Journey begin with exploration into the topic of ‘The Places People Go’. The Entry Point to this topic prepares the children to take a virtual class ‘holiday’ to France! Opportunities within this to explore weather, maps, languages and traditions create a very enthusiastic and fun start to our year!
