Get a piece of paper and fold it into 4 or draw a grid with four sections. Label the sections: adjectives, verbs, noun and prepositions.

While you are watching the film, write different examples on your paper.

We are going to use these to write our own poem based on The Dreadful Menace.

In each verse the lines are organised ABCB where the second and the fourth line rhyme.  

I want you to organise your poem like this and start the first verse with the line:

‘I am the Dreadful Menace’.

I have attached an example below to show you what I mean.
