English
In English, we have began learning about prefixes and suffixes. A suffix is letters that can be added to the end of a root word to change its meaning. Adding ‘-ing’ to a verb (a doing word) changes the verb to the present tense (meaning it’s happening now).
Add ‘-ing’ to the end of these words and put them in a sentence.

Maths
In maths we have been looking at repeated addition and how this links to multiplication. Have a go at the worksheet, filling in the repeated addition and multiplication number sentences represented by the pictures.
Geography
In geography, we have been learning about seas and coasts. We have identified human (man-made) and physical (natural) features at British beaches.
Using the picture, label the human and physical features, to compare a British beach with one from another country.
What is the same in both pictures? What is different? Which would you rather visit? Why?
