What else could Floyd have thrown in to the tree? Write a list of new objects that Floyd could have thrown in to the tree. Use adjectives (describing words) to describe them, to create noun phrases.

Making equal groups by grouping.
Choose a task card. Using counters (or anything else you can find!) create the equal groups by grouping the objects.
Write 'There are _ altogether. There are _ in each group. There are _ groups'. Then write the repeated addition. Repeat with other task cards - putting objects in to groups of 2, 5 and 10. Challenge: can you write the corresponding multiplication?
