English - Today I would like you to find out as much as you can about rainbows and make notes to help you with tomorrow's activity. Things you might find out are what shape is a rainbow? How is it formed? What colours can you see? What is the weather like? There may be other things that you can find out. You might also find an interesting fact (I found one about moonbows) This link might help you

Maths - Today's lesson is on grouping using the video and worksheet below.

Art/DT - Today you will be creating a spinning colour spectra.

You will need: cardboard, coloured pens, compass or circle to draw around, ruler, scissors, pencil

Use the compass to draw a circle (you could draw around a circle shape) and, using a pencil and ruler, divide this circle into six segments of equal size. Cut your circle out. Using various mixtures of the primary colours (red, yellow and blue), colour in the different segments of your cardboard circle. Push the pencil through the centre of the circle and spin your top. What do you think you will see when you use certain combinations of colours in the circle? How do your predictions compare to the results?
