Practise reading these set 2 sounds each day -
Each day there will be a Set 3 focus sound e.g. 'ea' and review sounds e.g. 'ph' and 'wh'. Practise reading the sounds and words containing the sounds. Ask an adult to choose 3 words containing the focus sound and 2 words from each review sound - spell them without looking. Use your fred fingers to help you - say the word and pinch the sounds e.g. d-r-ea-m.
Focus sound: 'tious/cious'
Review sounds: 'ure' and 'ear'
Today you are going to practise forming and punctuating sentences accurately.

Activity 3 - Draw a picture of a pirate and label is using noun phrases e.g. black hat, red parrot etc. Once you have labelled it, write 3 sentences using your noun phrases and 'and'. Don't forget your capital letters and full stops!
E.g. The pirate has a black eye patch and brown trousers.
Today you are going to use ordinal language e.g. 1st, 4th etc. to describe the position of objects.
Create a row of 10 different coloured objects e.g. counters, colouring pencils/pens, toy cars etc. Can you describe the position of the objects using ordinal language? E.g. the red pencil is third. The blue car is 7th.
