English - Listen (or read) the story of the Worrysaurus below. As you watch, think of the characteristics of this little dinosaur... is he a worrier? scared? timid? Now I would like you to create your own dinosaur with it's own characteristics. It could be a bravesaurus, a kindasurus, a sadasurus, you choose your own. Draw it and have a go at writing a short story about your dinosaur.

Maths - This week's lessons as provided by White Rose are on measurement. As we covered this area of learning at the start of Lockdown. I have included the lesson below or you may choose to follow the link and complete the Bitesize activity -

Art/DT - Create a Papier Mache Dinosaur Egg: Blow up a balloon, not too big! Use watered down PVA glue (or mix one part flour with one part of water e.g. 1 cup flour and 1 cup water, or 1/2 cup flour and 1/2 cup water until you get a thick glue-like consistency. Add a bit more water if it's too thick. Mix well with a spoon to get rid of all the lumps) and add newspaper strips over 3 to 4 layers. Then add a final plain paper layer. Leave to dry and when it's completely dry you can paint your dinosaur egg however you would like. There are some photos below of some children in school to show you what to do.
