Each day there will be a new phonics sound (Set 3).
Read the sound and the words containing the sound (recap Set 2 sounds and previous Set 3 sounds as you go along).

A suffix is letters that can be added to the end of a root word to change its meaning. Adding ‘-ed’ to a verb (a doing word) changes the verb to the past tense (meaning it has already happened).
Add ‘-ed’ to the end of these words and put them in a sentence.
