School Clubs

At Parkgate we offer a wide range of extra curricular activities. Activities run before school, at lunchtimes and after school. Some of these are run in house and others are run by outside providers.
Music

Dear Parents and Carers,

Welcome to Music at Parkgate Primary School. We are very lucky to have so many musically talented children at our school and we try to provide as many activities and clubs as possible to accommodate children of every age and level.

We have three recorder groups:

We also have a school Choir. They comprise of boys and girls and sing all different types of songs from Abba to traditional Christmas carols. We perform at lots of different events, Hallwood Court, Clatterbridge Hospital, Claire House Children's Hospice, the Christmas Fair, Neston Parish Church to name but a few. We are always looking for new members, please see Mrs Foster or Mr Hewson if you are interested in joining.

Sports

Sport and fitness is important to children here at Parkgate Primary. We all have 2 hours of curriculum time and there are extra curricular clubs; for example: football, dodgeball, multi skills, cross country, netball. We also take part in many inter schools competitions.

Lego Club

Lego club is run each week on a Friday lunchtime in the Year 6 classroom. It is organised by boys from Year 5. It is open to all age groups and is very popular with children from EYFS2, Year 1 and Year 2. The children can spend time with their friends making models and looking at books about Lego. Each week certificates are awarded for the best model.
