At Parkgate Primary we are passionate about school swimming and believe in giving children the opportunity to learn to swim, giving them the skills to stay safe near water.

Years 3, 4, 5 and 6 participate in lessons held at Neston Recreation Centre.

The lessons are provided by fully qualified swimming teachers, supported by an amazing team of staff and volunteers to ensure safety at all times. Lifeguards are on poolside throughout all sessions.

There is no cost for the swimming lessons, although we do ask for a voluntary contribution towards the cost of the bus.

Whether your child is a complete beginner or already participate in swimming lessons, all abilities are catered for in a safe and enjoyable environment.

If you have any further questions, please speak to your child’s class teacher.
